Holy Grail Beauty Products of 2017

Hello again guys! Today I’m going to be sharing with you my top 10 favourite beauty products of 2017 so far! I hope you enjoy..

1) Nip + Fab Dragons Blood Plumpline serum (£19.95)

I love this serum for every day use, I use it once in the morning after cleansing + toning and again at night time once I’ve removed all my make-up and worked through my skincare for the evening. This product claims to deliver instant moisture and a plumping effect to the skin while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I definitely agree that this serum leaves your skin feeling extremely supple and plump following application. I love the cooling feeling you get when applying this to your face, it leaves you feeling fresh and awake. For me I have to apply a moisturiser straight after using this product as I have dry/sensitive skin and this can leave my skin feeling a bit tight and deyhydratwd after a while. Nip + Fab also claims this product is recommended by Kylie Jenner (so if it’s good enough for her it’s good enough for me). Purchase directly here: https://www.nipandfab.com/dragons-blood-fix-serum

2) Illamasque Hydra Veil (£34.00)

A good primer for my sensitive skin is always something I have struggled with finding until I came across this one. It is so hydrating and smooth, the hydra Veil applies a light layer which forms a barrier between your foundation and your skin making make-up application flawless every time. Illamasque claim this product provides a healthy balanced finish with a calm and refreshing effect all of which I would agree with, I am struggling to find anything bad to say about this product I really didn’t want to like this because of the price but unfortunately I love it. Find it here: http://www.illamasqua.com/hydra-veil/

3) Clinique Beyond Perfectinf foundation + concealer (£27.00)

One of the biggest reasons I love this foundation so much is for the full coverage but flawless finish it leaves, making your skin still look like skin. Clinique have really produced with this product, the colour selection is unbelievable suiting all skin types from your lightest to darkest. Once applied it feels hydrating although it is a matte finish. The foundation/concealer claims to be full coverage without clogging your pores. It is a breathable formula and ideal for all skin types with great staying powder (what more could you want from a product). One thing I will say is you have to work quickly once this is applied to the skin as it starts to dry quickly. Another bonus to this product is that it doubles as a foundation or a concealer so on your more lazy days you can use this as a spot concealer or alternatively buy two shades and use them for foundation and concealer/highlight. 4) Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer (£8.99)

Concealer is something I enjoy changing up and trying new products all the time however this is one I always continue to come back to. This is my go to concealer to grab when I’m doing my make up on a daily basis. It’s so so creamy and applies like a dream. It is super high coverage for under the eyes which is good for covering up those eye bags (bonus)!! I just wish maybelline would come out with some more shades of this concealer with different undertones. Product claims to improve appearance of skin while providing a high coverage hydrating finish. So worth giving it a try for the price, I’ll never look back. 5) Laura Mercier translucent loose setting powder (£29.00)

There are not enough good words to use that would describe this product!!! Everybody needs this in their make-up collection.. I haven’t reached for another setting powder since I bought this, as soon as you have set your face with this you are set for the the next 24hrs (like literally). The powder itself is so finally milled and looks flawless. It doesn’t settle into the creases of your eyes or look cakey. I don’t know what Laura Mercier has put in here but it’s like magic in a pot. This product has been dermatologically tested and is said to work on all skin types. Claims to blend make-up effortlessly without adding texture. Don’t hang about go get this now.. : https://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/beauty/laura-mercier-translucent-loose-setting-powder/b063888.pd#876119841

6) TooFaced milk chocolate soleil bronzer (£25.00)

TooFaced claim that this bronzer contains anti-oxidant rich cocoa powder which will give you a matte glow which neutralises red and evens skin tone. This bronzer definitely does blend very well on the skin giving you a natural glow without looking muddy. I find that this is a lovely shade for bronzing my skin tone (light/medium) and you can continue to apply to your desired effect without it looking like you have lots of product on your skin. Last but not least this bronzing powder smells like chocolate!!! Sold. You can now purchase TooFaced products in Debenhams in the U.K.: http://m.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_154614003299_-1

7) MAC Blush in PeachyKeen (£19.50)

Blush isn’t something I apply everyday but when I do this is my favourite go to product and shade. PeachyKeen is a muted peach which has a very slight shimmer to it. It applies smoothly and evenly to the skin, but a little goes a long way (tap off the excess!!!) if you don’t work with a light hand you may end up looking more clown than peach princess. MAC claims this provides a natural looking application which stays put and is said to be non-acnegenic which is always a plus. I have never noticed any bad effects on my skin using this. Get yours here: http://m.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/13842/329/products/makeup/face/blush/powder-blush#/shade/Peachykeen

8) BECCA shimmering skin perfector pressed powder in moonstone (£32)

When I first seen girls on YouTube using these highlighters and I checked them out for myself I was totally deterred by the price £32 for 8g of product.. that’s expensive!! However on a trip to America I decided to take the plunge and purchase one for myself and let me tell you these are worth it!! Don’t let the price put you off I bought this product in May of last year and I still haven’t hit pan. The powder is so buttery and finely milled it doesn’t sit on top of the skin it melts in and looks so natural. There is a great colour range, Jaclyn Hills signature champagne pop is also absolutely stunning! Moonstone just happens to be my favourite for my skin tone. BECCA claim this product leaves a back lit lustre without a trace of tell tale glitter which is absolutely true. It is said to adjust to skins natural undertones making you luminous in any light. I definitely will be repurchasing this product and since discovering this BECCA has now become one of my favourite brands. Purchase a shimmering skin perfector here: https://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/becca-shimmering-skin-perfector-pressed.html?variant_id=5204

9) Rimmel London lip liner in Spice (£2.99)

Super affordable yet super wearable lip liner. Spice is a creamy lip liner in a your lips but better shade. I pair this lip liner with almost any nude lip product to create the perfect lip colour for my skin tone. I have bought this product time and time again and for £2.99 you really cannot go wrong. Rimmel states it is longwearing 8 hour wear with a creamy easy to use texture. You can pick yours up in any Superdrug or boots on the high street.. https://www.superdrug.com/Rimmel/Rimmel-1000-Kisses-Lipliner-Spice-11/p/516658?gclid=CjwKCAjwt8rMBRBOEiwA2F2biE1ApWZ3-eWpv2i6t3QVaG5HalJsWEQCbdy0aXVu3jFxBAu_BDeVxxoCHGQQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=CNay4K3f2dUCFWoi0wodF5oP4g

10) Mac lipstick in Kinda Sexy (£16.50)

This is hands down my favourite lipstick formulation and perfect colour for me. Kinda Sexy is a neutral pinky rose colour. It applies so easily and the formula is so buttery and full coverage. This is not a transfer proof product although it is matte it is not a completely matte dry finish like a liquid lipstick however it is very long wearing and extremely comfortable on the lips. I’m on about my 5th repurchase of this product and I will continue to buy.
